Ways to manage stress and anxiety on your own

I don’t always have the time or money to go through long therapy programs or courses, so I’ve been searching for simpler ways to handle it myself. For example, the other day I had a panic-like moment before a work meeting, and all I could think of doing was taking deep breaths until it passed. It helped a little, but I feel like I need more reliable strategies I can use daily without committing to something huge. Has anyone here figured out ways to deal with stress and anxiety on their own?

Breathing exercises and short walks were my first go-to, but what really helped me was finding a way to track my thoughts and feelings regularly. I came across some liven reviews and that pointed me toward tools that focus on self-reflection and mood tracking. For me, writing down when I felt anxious and what triggered it made it easier to spot patterns. Once I started connecting those dots, I could prepare myself better for similar situations. It’s not a perfect fix, but it made stress feel a lot more manageable.
