One thing I love reading about involves the female main character who can hold her own. Someone who doesn't shy from a fight, and shows she's skilled in more ways than one. Reading about women like this make me feel incredibly empowered and I'm constantly on the lookout for books that fit into this category.

So in wanting to help others find this particular genre, I've put together a list of books that I LOVE that have a kickass female as the main character.
