March 2025 was an amazing month for my reading list - I managed to get through 31 books, which is actually a lot fewer than I read around this time last year!
Like usual, I totally lost track of time diving into a bunch of romance novels packed with intrigue, passion, and unforgettable characters. Every book left its mark on me, pulling me into its unique world. So, here are the standout reads of the month and what made each one special.

A Look at my March 2025 Favourite Books
Here's a snapshot of the notable books I explored in March:
Wild Eyes by Elsie Silver
Spark The Flames by Ivy Asher
A Legacy of Light by Amy Reading
A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St Clair
A Game of Fate by Scarlett St Clair
Three Reckless Words by Nicole Snow
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Let’s take a closer look at these captivating stories:

Wild Eyes by Elsie Silver
Another banger from Elsie Silver - seriously, this woman can’t miss.
Wild Eyes follows Skylar, a country music star who basically dips out of fame life and ends up in the small town of Rose Hill. I thought she was gonna be a bit of a glittery nightmare at first, but turns out she’s actually super down to earth once she settles in.
And then there’s West who is the grumpy single dad, horse trainer, total heartthrob. His kids are pure chaos (Emmy deserves her own show tbh), and the whole vibe of this book just made me so damn happy. Sweet, funny, and a bit spicy - loved it. Can’t wait for the next one in the series!

Spark The Flames by Ivy Asher
Okay, this book? Absolutely unputdownable. From the very first chapter, Ivy Asher throws you straight into the action, and I was hooked. Like, forget sleep - I needed to know what happened next. The world-building is top-tier too: rich, layered, and so easy to fall into. You can just tell every detail was thought out.
Ever is that main character - strong, confident, and seriously badass. I adored her. And then there’s Aeson … oh my god, Aeson. Protective, supportive, and the kind of fictional man you immediately get attached to. The trust issues, the tension, the moments where I wanted to shake them both - it made their dynamic so addictive to read.
Also, Aeson’s Wing? ICONIC. His little found family of protectors brought so much life and humour to the story. I’m obsessed with their banter. Tove had me fully laughing out loud. Honestly, I’d read a spin-off just about the Wing being chaotic and amazing.
And the ending? Ivy really said here’s a cliffhanger, enjoy your emotional damage. I’m already counting down until the next book, and I’ve got my eye on a physical copy because this one absolutely deserves shelf space.

A Legacy of Light by Amy Reading
I don’t even know how to process this book right now. I’m sitting here just staring at the page, trying to figure out how I’m supposed to move on from what I just read. This book was everything.
From start to finish, I was completely hooked. Elsie is such a fantastic character, and her bond with both Rayne and Tavish? Chef’s kiss. Seriously, the connections between them were so warm and real - there was so much kindness and consideration flowing through the pages that I couldn’t help but get emotionally attached.
But then … THEN … the cliffhanger. Amy, why did you do this to me? She literally threw me off a cliff (emotionally, of course) and left me absolutely dying to know what happens next. I’m completely wrecked, but in the best way possible.
If you love a story full of heart, deep connections, and twists that’ll make your jaw drop, this book is for you. But just be prepared: the cliffhanger will haunt you for a while. I’m not okay, but I’m obsessed.

A Touch of Darkness & A Game of Fate by Scarlett St Clair
Okay, wow. Scarlett St. Clair’s A Touch of Darkness and A Game of Fate completely stole my heart and attention. If you’re into a modern take on the Hades and Persephone myth, with all the passion, longing, and intense chemistry you can handle, then you need to dive into these.
In A Touch of Darkness, I was instantly hooked by the complexity of the characters and the way their emotions and desires played out. The whole power dynamic between them? So good. You can’t help but root for them as they try to navigate the mess of their feelings, and let’s just say the chemistry between them is off the charts. I seriously couldn’t put it down.
Then we get A Game of Fate (which is essentially the same story as A Touch of Darkness, but from Hades' point of view), and the tension just ramps up. You think you know where it’s going, and then BOOM - it hits you with even more feels. This book takes the emotional rollercoaster to another level, exploring how vulnerability and strength balance each other out in their relationship. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
These two books are a wild ride, and trust me, you’re going to love every second of it.

Three Reckless Words by Nicole Snow
Three Reckless Words is the perfect combination of grumpy billionaire vibes, sunshiney FMC energy, and all the cozy small-town charm you could want. From the first page, it’s an easy, feel-good read that you can’t put down.
The chemistry between the main characters is off the charts, with just the right balance of banter and angst to keep things exciting. Watching the grumpy billionaire try to resist the sunshiney FMC is the perfect mix of heartwarming and swoon-worthy.
If you're looking for a quick, captivating read with amazing chemistry and a touch of drama, this is your book. 5 stars all the way!

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Throne of Glass is the book that started it all in Sarah J. Maas's epic fantasy series, and it’s just as captivating on the second read.
This story follows Celaena Sardothien, a fierce assassin with a troubled past, as she’s given a chance to fight for her freedom in a deadly competition. But the stakes are much higher than she anticipated, and soon she finds herself entangled in court politics, dark magic, and dangerous secrets.
The world-building is immersive, the characters are complex, and the twists and turns keep you hooked every time.
The series as a whole is absolute perfection and has had such an impact on my reading journey, reminding me of my deep love for reading. It’s a story that stays with you long after you’ve finished.
